POSTPONED: With Love: Super Adoption Day 2019!
Dear Prospective Super Adoption Day Partners,
We're sad to report that we've decided to postpone this year's Super Adoption Day event, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 7, 2019 until Spring of 2020. Due to unexpected road work and construction being performed in and around the area of the Piazza's Pod Park by the City of Philadelphia that is not expected to be complete until year end, we've determined that it is not conducive to host an adoption event there at this time.
We were very much looking forward to our 10th annual Super Adoption Day event on September 7th, but the safety of our attendees, vendors, and pets is paramount. We also expect that all of the construction in the area would cause lower-than-average adoptee attendance. We do, however, intend on hosting the event at the Pod Park come Spring, 2020 and will keep everyone posted on the new date.

Dear Prospective Super Adoption Day Partners,
“With Love: Super Adoption Day” will once again be the largest event of its kind in Philadelphia history and one of the largest pet adoption events nationwide. Organized by Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia (an animal welfare advocacy group), there will be rescue groups and shelters with adoptable animals for the public to meet and hopefully adopt! The event is going to be held on Saturday, September 7th from 11:00am – 4:00pm at The Piazza's new Pod Park (a 35,000 square-foot mixed-use outdoor park along Germantown Avenue at 2nd Street will feature local food vendors, al fresco dining and an indoor “dining pod,” activities and events, and two massive art installations) and will feature music, refreshments, shopping, special guests and more! This is a great venue with room for thousands of people, many vendors and rescue groups, and exciting new attractions.
We are very excited for our tenth annual event and we are happy that you are considering participating! Our goals are to increase awareness of the issues surrounding animal welfare in Philadelphia and give groups a unique venue to showcase their adoptable animals and activities to potential adopters and participants. The adoption numbers stemming from this event have always been a success!
There is a fee associated with participating in this event to help cover facilities fees: $25 for shelters and rescues, $75 for retail vendors & non-rescue organizations. You are encouraged to bring your own table, but tables are also available for rental. Each participating organization will have enough room for one 10 x 10 tent if you would like to bring a tent along with you. Online registration and payment can be made below.
